About Us
Hi, I’m Crystie Burnett, the heart behind Crystie’s Coffee House & Bistro. My love for coffee began decades ago, from early mornings behind bakery counters to unforgettable moments in Italian cafés.
After 22 years in the food industry, I finally poured my passion into one cup at a time right here in Calgary. Our coffee is brewed with beans from local partner Phil & Sebastian, who source directly from farmers around the world because every sip deserves authenticity.

Espresso is made by forcing hot water through finely-ground coffee under pressure, producing a small but strong shot with a rich flavor and crema on top. Regular coffee (drip or brewed) uses gravity instead of pressure and has a milder taste.
If you’re new to espresso, try a Flat White or Cappuccino. They have a smooth balance of milk and espresso, giving you the flavor of coffee without the intensity of a pure espresso shot.
